Marc McDonnell
Bio...
I grew up in Des Moines,
Washington where I played varsity baseball and
football at Mount Rainier High School. In high
school I earned 4 letters and was named team captain
twice...I was named to the All State team as a
catcher. Following high school I attended
Bellevue Community College under Mike Kansaki and
Mark Yoshino. At Bellevue I earned team captain
honors, all league honors, All NWAAC honors, and
became the NWAAC record holder for single season RBI
totals with 55 in 40 games. In 1995 I
transfered to the University of Hawaii at Hilo and
played two seasons as a scholarship athlete for Joey
Estrella. I was named team captain as a
senior. During the summer I played with the Seattle
Cruisers in the West Coast league under Mike McCain
and Dan Spillner.
In 1998 I was signed as
a free agent to play for the Grey's Harbor Gulls in
Grey's Harbor Washington. Following my retirement I
moved to Dana Point with my wife of 13 years,
Jennifer who also attended
the University of Hawaii. She was a 4 year
pitcher. I have 2 boys and 2 girls: Maric age11, Masen age
9, Madisen age 5, and out newest one, Malea who was
born in October.
Professionally I owned
and operated the All Star Dugout Baseball and
Softball Training Facility in Aliso Viejo
where I taught thousands of lessons both baseball
and softball as well as organizing coaches clinics
and camps. All Star Dugout
specialized in creating training packages to teach
kids and coaches how to become better at their
craft. Over the years our travel teams, known
as the All Star Dugout Bulldogs, have fielded 18
teams, many which went on to win an assortment of
honors. I am currently coaching the ASD
Bulldogs travel team.

Jennifer McDonnell is a veteran collegiate softball
pitcher with over 29 years of pitching and playing
experience. Originally from Los Angeles she
began playing softball at age 5 and pitching at age 10.
It was then when she realized what her passion was.
After many accomplishments throughout her years of
playing, including four years at University of Hawaii as
a starting pitcher, she decided to pursue her dream of
becoming a softball pitching instructor. She has enjoyed
seeing many of her young students turn into premier
softball pitchers with the help of her instruction and
training tactics. She believes in the importance of
learning proper mechanics as a young pitcher. She also
believes in setting goals and working hard to achieve
them.
Her
certification as a personal trainer, along with her
playing and teaching experience allows Jennifer to
uniquely tailor every lesson to each of her students.
Jennifer honestly cares about every one of her students
and enjoys watching their success, as it reflects her
well-done job. She teaches beginning to advanced
pitchers.
