A Typical Camp
Day (Summer Camp Only)
Pete Zamora and his
staff will run our week long camps getting to
know each child and teach them qualities like
self confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship,
discipline, all while working in all aspects of
baseball and softball, hitting, pitching,
fielding, throwing, base running, and game
situations.

We will make
every attempt to make this camp a great
childhood memory for your child. We quote a
1:8 camper to instructor ratio but have
never gone that high. In the past we will
typically have 100 kids in a larger camp and
have 12-15 instructors. Most of our
instructors work and teach at the All Star
Dugout. We then fill in with our current
students that are in college playing
currently or top recently graduating
baseball or softball players. Our staff is
very strong. We have been doing the All
Star Dugout summer camp program for 10
years. Each year we get better and better.

on Monday, August 4th.
Girls will be broken
into groups by age and ability. The girls will be
learning all aspects of the game. Including, proper
throwing mechanics, fielding, hitting, base running,
pitching, and catching.
Our camper to instructor
ratio is 8:1 at the most. Most of our instructors
have played high school locally and gone on to
receive softball scholarships. Ashley Evens played
at Aliso Viejo High School and 4 years at Concordia
and now is the assistant coach at Concordia
University. Kandi Henry played at Dana Hills High
School and 4 years at University of Texas El Paso.
This is a great
opportunity to get better at softball, make new
friends, and have fun. This is also the perfect
time to get ready for Fall Ball.
